Engagement options

Start small enough to learn and measure, then expand what works.

Vertex Authority uses a staged engagement model because the best AI project is rarely obvious from a product demo. Current ranges are founding-client launch prices set below typical consulting and agency pricing while verified case studies are built. Each stage has a defined decision, deliverable, price basis, and stopping point. Software and model usage remain separate.

Useful outcomes

What the work should improve.

  • A practical way to build team understanding
  • A paid assessment that produces an actionable decision
  • A pilot with baseline metrics and a clear owner
  • A full implementation only after the workflow is proven
  • A website option connected to customer and operations systems
  • Ongoing training and monitoring without hidden infrastructure lock-in

How it works

A practical scope with clear boundaries.

AI Fit Check

A short, no-charge conversation about one training need, workflow, or business problem. The result is a go, no-go, or not-yet opinion, not a free custom roadmap.

  • About 20 minutes
  • No implementation design
  • Best for qualification

AI Training and Enablement

Start with a role-specific workshop or a short team enablement sprint covering useful examples, failure modes, verification, safe-data rules, and practical follow-up.

  • Customized workshop: $750 to $1,250
  • Team enablement sprint: $2,500 to $5,000
  • Ongoing office hours: $400 to $900 per month

AI and Workflow Assessment

A fixed-scope review of workflows, tools, users, data, provider choices, risk, and realistic ROI. The assessment ends with a ranked opportunity map and pilot scope.

  • Founding-client range: $1,250 to $2,500
  • One to two week target window
  • Part of the fee may be credited to a qualifying implementation when agreed in advance

One Workflow Pilot

A focused implementation that proves one lead, document, knowledge, reporting, or administrative workflow before wider rollout.

  • Founding-client range: $2,500 to $5,000
  • Two to four week target window
  • Fixed price or milestone based

Full implementation or website system

Expand a proven workflow or build the customer-facing website and integrations around it. Larger scopes use milestones and explicit client-access dependencies.

  • AI integration work starts around $5,000
  • Website and customer systems range from $3,750 to $12,500
  • Complex, sensitive, or multi-location work is scoped separately

Managed AI Operations

Operate and improve launched systems with monitoring, issue response, model and provider changes, cost review, testing, documentation, training office hours, and an expansion backlog.

  • Founding-client range: $400 to $1,500 per month
  • Third-party software and usage billed separately
  • Included hours and response boundaries are stated in the scope

Pricing guardrails

Public launch prices are discounted, but no scope is accepted below a sustainable delivery floor. Internally, quotes use the higher of the researched launch value or estimated delivery hours multiplied by the internal rate floor, plus direct costs and contingency.

  • Target at least $50 per planned delivery hour
  • Never accept work projected below $45 per hour before direct costs
  • Cap included support hours and charge new feature work separately

Usually not a good first project

What Vertex Authority will push back on.

  • A request for guaranteed revenue without control over sales, advertising, or fulfillment
  • A demand for unlimited revisions or support inside a low setup fee
  • A fully custom platform budgeted like a template subscription
  • A deployment with no client owner, test data, or access to the affected systems
